The Kanardia INDU Altimeter 3‑1/8″ Master is a modern electronic altimeter that combines the familiar readability of a traditional analogue instrument with the accuracy and reliability of contemporary digital sensing. Designed for non‑certified aircraft, it is ideal for microlights, light sport, experimental aircraft, and gyrocopters.
This master version features an integrated high‑precision barometric pressure sensor, allowing the instrument to operate as a standalone altitude source. In addition to its primary function, it transmits altitude and barometric data to other compatible avionics over the CAN bus, making it well suited to integrated glass or hybrid cockpit environments.
The standard 3‑1/8″ (80 mm) round format fits conventional panel cut‑outs and provides dual‑pointer analogue altitude indication for clear, intuitive situational awareness. A colour LCD display is integrated into the instrument face, displaying barometric pressure settings and system information without cluttering the panel.
Barometric pressure (QNH) is easily adjusted using the front‑mounted rotary control, with support for both hPa and inHg units. The INDU Altimeter also includes internal data logging capability, enabling altitude data to be recorded for post‑flight review or system monitoring.
