Kanardia INDU Air Speed 2-1/4″ Master
The Kanardia INDU Air Speed 2-1/4″ Master is a modern electronic airspeed indicator that combines the intuitive readability of a traditional analogue instrument with the precision and flexibility of digital avionics. Designed for non‑certified aircraft, it is ideally suited for ultralights, LSA, experimental aircraft, autogyros, and helicopters.
Featuring an internal high‑resolution pressure sensor, the Master version operates as a standalone airspeed indicator while also serving as a data source for other Kanardia instruments via the CAN bus. The round 57 mm (2-1/4″) format makes it a perfect fit for modern glass or hybrid panels, offering excellent visibility in all lighting conditions.
The colour LCD display supports customisable speed scales and arc markings, allowing the instrument to be tailored to specific aircraft limitations and pilot preferences. Visual overspeed warnings change colour as critical speeds are exceeded, improving situational awareness and enhancing flight safety.
When connected to compatible Kanardia instruments, the INDU Air Speed can share airspeed and temperature data across the avionics network. An optional Outside Air Temperature (OAT) input enables true airspeed (TAS) calculation when altitude data is available on the CAN bus.
