The Parys Annual Taildragger Fly‑In returns from 10–12 April 2026, and Comet Aviation Supplies is excited to be part of this iconic aviation gathering. Each year, pilots and enthusiasts from across South Africa descend on Parys Airfield (FAPY) for a weekend filled with classic airframes, great food, and aviation community spirit.
A Weekend for Aviation Enthusiasts
The main event on Saturday, 11 April promises a lively flow of aircraft arrivals throughout the morning. While taildraggers are the stars of the show, all aircraft types are welcome, creating a diverse and exciting apron for visitors to enjoy. Families can expect kid‑friendly attractions including a reptile educational show, jumping castle, and plenty of space to take in the action. Buffet breakfasts will be served on both Saturday and Sunday.
Music, Braai, and Community
As the day winds down, the energy shifts to the hangar area where a live band will set the tone for a relaxed community braai. Braai packs will be available to purchase, keeping things convenient for visitors who prefer to travel light.
