Understanding the Jeppesen by Jacques Vosloo

In 1996 Jacques completed his CPL at NAC Lanseria in between his studies at the University of the Witwatersrand. In 1998 he graduated as an Aeronautical Engineer and shortly afterwards started working for 43 Air School. He spent the next 18 months as a full time instructor, completing his ATPL and Grade 2 flight instructors rating. In 2000 he joined Rossair Contracts and was promoted to Training captain on Kingair’s and Beech 1900’s. When the time came to complete his thesis for his Grade 1 Instructors rating the natural product was the first version of Understanding the Jeppesen (South African pilots guide to the Jeppesen). Jacques was Designated as a Flight Examiner by the SACAA in 2003. After a short period as Chief Training Captain at NAC Charter, where he was Instructor on Premier 1 jets he spent 2 years flying B737’s for a Comair before joining Cathay Pacific Airways in 2007. Jacques now pursues his passion for training by producing high quality pilot training books.
